I’m fascinated by people who aren’t trying to get somewhere.
Almost everyone is going somewhere, whether they actually want to get there or not. Many people act like they’re late. Either way, everyone is headed somewhere, and there’s no time to stop along the way. Certainly no room for interruptions.
Very rarely you encounter people who are happy where they are (not just dissatisfied with where they’re going). People who already made it, and are satisfied now by wandering, exploring, learning, and asking questions — like children playing.
