Life gets in the way of creative work. There’s no time to make anything unless I make time.
The strategy I employ to make time for my art will determine how successfully I communicate my message. Even more importantly, my art-making strategy decides how well I will promote my work, and who will be exposed to it.
Too often a project fails because I allocate time to making things without making time and effort to tell people about the things I make!
Can the way I make my art limit my audience? Yes, but it can also attract an audience in the first place.
Leave time for failures. Leave time for promotion.
I want to make work I’m proud of and tell other people about it.
