“We have the most expensive education system in the world by an order of magnitude.”
-Ángel Cabrera, President of George Mason University
And that’s just the start of it.
What’s all this, then?
In April 2014 I set out to write a book to help students study abroad. That journey threw me headfirst into a surprising national security issue: studying abroad.
Study Abroad, eh?
I’ve spent the last year and a half getting my hands dirty and really diving into the the world of international education, and I just recently put together a summary page of the first ever Generation Study Abroad summit.
My summary page explains the cultural background for the urgency of the study abroad movement, and I hope it gives you some insight into why this is a problem I love caring deeply about. I’m absolutely thrilled that collaborating with universities and program providers to help students study abroad affordably is my job.
