What Changed When I Started Publishing Every Day

I don’t have to be online all the time to publish all the time.

I told you yesterday how excited I am to be able to initialize my goals for the year while still publishing on a daily basis.

Discovering my own ability to publish every day through a queue last year during the 1000 videos in a year project was a life-altering change of process for me.

There were days last year where I didn’t get out of bed all day because of sickness or depression, but I was able to engage in a fairly timely dialogue with the rest of the world through the power of automation and online video.

I can’t overemphasize how lucky and powerful I felt being able to have conversations about my life with friends who were already caught up on everything that had happened recently.

The queue changed everything. It turned my necessary daily social online and offline interactions into something that I could manage asynchronously, like texts and emails. It completely overhauled how I keep up with people, and who I have the ability to spend time with in my life in a meaningful way.

I am curious how it would be if more people I care about on a personal level made daily vlogs or snapchat stories.

We’ll get there. I’m excited about the extended possibilities of this train of thought with VR.

More thoughts about this tomorrow. See you then.
